I've met both Carole and Jed in the real live flesh. of the two, Carole was much more pleasant to be around.
at the poster meet where I met Jed, he sat at the end of the table like some Jabba the Hutt wanna be, looking all smug because he was paying for everyone's dinner. as I was leaving, I made a point of going over to him to thank him personally for covering the check, even though the table did a toast/thank you to him earlier. he just kind of nodded, and I felt dismissed. he's not even gracious when being generous.
